Recycled Steel

Steel is the most recycled industrial material in the world, with over 500 metric tonnes recycled annually, including pre- and post-consumer scrap. It can be recycled an infinite amount of times and be used with no downgrading in quality which makes it a very sustainable and long-lasting material.

This chair was inspired by the organic shapes of the human body and the geometric shapes of our industrial world. Combining these two aspects together with the chair being made of recycled steel, I want this chair to be symbolic for our contemporary society.
